So, after some heated discussions with some of my mates, I thought it would be better to open this question up to the world!
What would be your Arsenal starting 11, if all players are fit and firing? Mine is below. Let me know yours, and why it’s different (if it is) to mine!
Cheers.
Almunia
Sagna Gallas Vermaelen Clichy
Song
Rosicky Fabregas (C)
Van Persie Arshavin
Eduardo
Bench:
Walcott
Diaby
Bendtner
Wilshere

Rockyguru, I can’t believe you don’t have Eboue in your bench even if not in your starting line up.
My starting 11 would be similar to yours but with the exception of Van Persie to be replaced by Diaby. Why? Tracking back will be an issue with your team and that’s why I would have Diaby and also for some size in that team. Eduardo would be front man with Arshavin and Diaby will play just behind Fabregas and Rosicky.
I would definitely have Eboue on my bench (in place of Ramsey) because he could be a game changer from the bench, just as Van Persie would. Your thoughts?

dude… call yourself the “The Coach?!?!?!”
have you seen Diaby play?!? since when has he tracked back??? If he tracked back, he may of helped prevent some of those goals by Man City!!!.. Also, Diaby is too hot and cold, going forward… sometimes he plays like Ronaldo (Cristiano) sometimes he plays like Ronaldo (Fat Brazilian, lazy, Ronaldo!) lol… he is a Forest Gump… you never know what you’re gonna get
Eboue… good squad player, but i think Ramsey would be great off the bench to provide cover for Cesc, Rosicky or Song as he can play all those roles adequately. Walcott takes his place on the bench, ahead of eboo-boo!…

Having Diaby in my team is based on the fact that I see something as A Coach that you don’t!
He might be hot and cold going forward but he provides more to the team other than just going forward. He is potentially more physical than Van Persie and is nifty!
Van Persie is currently looking for his scoring boots! Until he finds them, I’ll have Diaby play more of a holding midfielder who will be responsible for making sure that the likes of Fabregas and Rosicky do what they do best, which is pass the ball to strikers who are in form or can create magic in a split second decision – Eduardo & Arshavin!
Challenge that!

A ha! But “Coach” if you really had seen Diaby’s matches from a Coach’s perspective you will see that as a defensive midfielder he is absolutely USELESS! In fact, Wenger has very, VERY rarely played him in that position and in my opinion Song is better equiped to play that position.
The only thing that I can see that MAY justify his inclusion, is his height… but then again, his heading abilities certainly came in handy against Man Utd – FOR Man Utd!!!… lol…
My starting 11 would destroy yours…
